Izsak is an impact crater on the back of the moon and therefore can not be directly observed from Earth . It is halfway between the large Fermi craters in the northeast and Milne in the southwest. Directly to the south is the larger Schaeberle crater .
Izsak forms a circular, almost symmetrical formation with a sharp-edged crater rim that is only slightly eroded. A small central peak rises in the center of the crater floor.
