action

Takeru Yagi has lived with the Tōma family since his parents left him and he was adopted by Rokunosuke Tōma. Rokunosuke is the head of the family and so has his problems with the young Takeru, who seems to be enjoying his life to the fullest. Among other things, the Shiratori sisters Kotono and Asuka are responsible for this, who repeatedly manage to appease the strict leaders. They live near the Tōma family and mostly take care of the household. His best friend is Takeshi Yamato, with whom he grew up. Takeshi was lucky enough to be adopted by the very wealthy Yamato family, but still remained a normal student. At the same time, Takeshi is also Takeru's biggest rival in the Kendō Club.

Shortly after the start of the plot, Seri Ōsu, who has lived in America for a long time, returns to the family. She and her mother had moved out of the Tōma house ten years ago. Before the beginning of the Kendō training, Takeshi and Takeru come across the unlocked case of a sword and take it out despite the lack of permission. When looking at the sword, both suddenly get visions and put it back in shock. However, these visions keep coming back in strange dreams, until one day at school, when the two of them have an argument, they are bathed in a strange light and transported into another world. The girls Seri, Kotono, Asuka and Mai Kitagawa who were present at the time are also carried away into the other world.

In this world the school is completely overgrown with plants and is in a sorry state. Outside of school, they do not recognize anything familiar and are separated from each other by figures wrapped in coats. Takeshi and Kotono are kidnapped by Himiko and her subordinates, who have set themselves the goal of destroying the existing world with the help of the awakening of their greatest warrior and creating a new beginning without humans. She believes that Takeshi is the soul of this warrior, with whom she is also in love. At the same time, the other four are taken in by the people of this world who hide from the warriors of Himiko with the help of portals.

In many armed conflicts there are also fights between Takeru and Takeshi, in which it turns out that the soul of the beloved Himiko is in both Takeru and Takeshi. However, neither of the two can decide the final fight for themselves and so the soul dies in the bodies of both. Himiko and her subordinates no longer see any reason to fight.
