Jón Jóhannesson
Jón S. Jóhannesson (born June 17, 1909 in Ísafjörður , † September 11, 1989 ) was an Icelandic badminton player .
Career
Jón Jóhannesson is one of the pioneers of the Tennis- og Badmintonfélag Reykjavíkur , which was founded in 1938, and one of the pioneers of badminton in Iceland. The greatest success of his own athletic career was winning the Icelandic men's doubles championship in 1950.
