József Ács (sculptor)

József Ács (born February 10, 1931 in Székesfehérvár , German: Stuhlweissenburg) is a Hungarian sculptor and medalist .

Ács studied from 1952 to 1958 at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts ("MKE") with Iván Szabó . He is primarily a stone sculptor, but also deals with the design of portrait busts and medals. In 1968 he showed his work in his only comprehensive solo exhibition to date in the cultural center ("Művelődési Ház") in the Rákosligeti district of Budapest, but took part in a large number of group exhibitions in Hungary.
