Jöran Bergh

Jöran Bergh (* 1941 ) is a Swedish mathematician who specializes in analysis.

Bergh received his PhD in 1971 under Jaak Peetre at Lund University (On the Interpolation of Normed Linear Spaces). Until his retirement he was professor at the University of Gothenburg and the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.

He wrote monographs on interpolation and wavelets . In addition to pure analysis, he dealt with various applications of analysis in science and technology.
