Works

In many variations and sizes, Jörg Bach mainly makes sculptures from square sheet steel. There are large and small wall objects, floor and outdoor sculptures, natural, painted or made of polished stainless steel. Bach gives them simple names such as reflectors , ground crops , controversial apples , curves , skyscrapers or grids . The works stand out for their intertwining or knotting, sometimes more spherical, sometimes extremely elongated. The coils only almost touch each other and thus achieve lightness and transparency. In addition to the sculptures, Jörg Bach creates frottages and sketches on paper and canvas.
