Jörg Fedtke

Jörg Fedtke is a German legal scholar .

Life

He studied law and political science at the University of Hamburg , where he completed his doctorate under Ingo von Münch in 2000 with distinction. This was followed by positions as a researcher in Germany at the seminar for foreign and international private and procedural law at the University of Hamburg, in Great Britain at the University College London (UCL) and at the Institute of Global Law in London and at the University of Texas at Austin . He held the AN Yiannopoulos Professorship for Comparative and International Law at the Tulane Law School . In May 2014 he took over the newly created chair for Common Law at the Law Faculty of the University of Passau .
