The Jewish cemetery Lüdinghausen is located in the town of Lüdinghausen in the Coesfeld district in North Rhine-Westphalia . As a Jewish cemetery , it is a listed building and has been entered in the list of monuments since October 5, 1988 under monument number A / 027 .

49 tombstones have been preserved in the cemetery on Steverstrasse .

history

The cemetery was occupied from 1839 to 1936. In 1942, 16 corpses were transferred to Hörde. During the National Socialist era , the tombstones were removed from the cemetery, but were not returned to their original locations when the cemetery was restored after the Second World War .
