The Jewish cemetery in Liberec (German Reichenberg ), the administrative seat of the North Bohemian Region ( Liberecký kraj ) in the Czech Republic , was established in 1865. The Jewish cemetery has been a protected cultural monument since 1992 .

history

Until their own cemetery was established, the deceased of the Reichenberg Jewish community were buried in the Turnov Jewish cemetery . The cemetery area in Reichenberg was expanded considerably at the end of the 19th century. The construction of the mourning hall was completed in 1900.
