history
The oldest gravestone dates from the 17th century, the youngest from 1956. All stones face east . The inscriptions are in Hebrew , in the middle of the 19th century also in German , from the end of the 19th century also in Czech .
investment
In the 1980s a bridge was built over the cemetery, the tombstones were removed and used again in the same places after the construction work was completed. A cemetery house built in 1800 is integrated into the cemetery wall, which served as a Tahara house and apartment for the gravedigger . There is a synagogue a few 100 meters away .
Famous pepole
The ancestors of Pavel Tigrid and the writer Ivan Olbracht are buried in the cemetery.
