Jewish cemetery (Schwerte)
The Schwerte Jewish cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Schwerte in the Unna district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The cemetery on the north wall was first mentioned in 1796 and was located on the site of the city moat on the north wall.
The cemetery was occupied from around 1762 to 1939. 78 tombstones have been preserved.
The cemetery is surrounded by a wall about two meters high and still contains about 96 graves. Part of the cemetery was probably filled and built after 1887.
