Jamaal Torrance
Jamaal Torrance (born July 20, 1983 in Orlando , Florida ) is an American sprinter whose special route is the 400-meter distance .
At the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, he finished seventh in the individual competition and won silver with the US team in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
In 2008 he won gold over 4 x 400 meters with the US relay at the World Indoor Championships in Valencia . At the 2010 World Indoor Championships in Doha , he defended the relay title with the US team and won bronze in the individual competition. At the 2011 World Championships , he was used in the preliminary run in the US relay, which then won gold in the final.
