The New Jewish Cemetery Westhofen is located in the Westhofen district of the city of Schwerte in the Unna district in North Rhine-Westphalia . In the Jewish cemetery , which is part of the Mesenbecke municipal cemetery (from the town center towards the motorway to the end of the street), five tombstones have been preserved that are no longer in their original place. The burial site, which was occupied from the end of the 19th century until 1916, has now been prepared as a memorial .
