Jewish cemetery (Blovice)

The Jewish cemetery in Blovice (German Blowitz ), a town in the district of Okres Plzeň-jih ( Czech Republic ), was established at the end of the 17th century. The Jewish cemetery is about a kilometer outside the village in the direction of Struhaře . The cemetery located on a slope has been a protected cultural monument since 1958 .
history
The 1,433 m 2 cemetery was first occupied in 1683. The cemetery has numerous tombstones ( mazewot ) with Hebrew and German inscriptions.
