Harbin Jewish Research Center

The Jewish Research Center Harbin (Engl. Harbin Jewish Research Center, Ch.哈尔滨犹太研究中心) is in April 2000 in Harbin of the Academy of Sciences Heilongjiang was founded and is active in various fields of study of Jewish culture and history in Harbin. The fields of work range from collecting and evaluating reports from contemporary witnesses, archiving old memorabilia, through to the preservation and preservation of monuments.

The New Synagogue of Harbin

In 2002 the research center opened its first exhibition in the former “new synagogue” of Harbin, which dealt with Jewish life in Harbin in the form of photos.

In 2003, the Research Center's The History and Culture of the Harbin Jews was accepted into all Heilongjiang provincial universities . It is primarily concerned with the use of objects and scenes of Jewish life in the locality.
