The Jewish Culture Quarter (Dutch Joods Cultureel Kwartier ) (JCK) has been the umbrella organization for historical Jewish institutions in Amsterdam since October 2012 . By joining forces and presenting them together as a Jewish cultural quarter, the possibilities for opening up the various collections and monuments to the public in the form of exhibitions, digitization, research, education and events are to be increased.

Since 2012, it has included: the Jewish Historical Museum , the Portuguese Synagogue , the Hollandsche Schouwburg , the JHM Children's Museum and the National Holocaust Museum . Together with the JHM, these institutions form the Jewish Cultural Quarter. The Jewish cultural institutions are located in an area of about one square kilometer in the old Jewish quarter of Amsterdam.

The JCK staff also maintain the Joods Monument , a website that lists all of the Jewish victims of the Holocaust.

In 2017 there were a total of 370,000 visitors to the Jewish Cultural Quarter. Until then, that was the best result in its history.

Emile Schrijver has been General Director of Joods Cultureel Kwartier since 2015 . Hetty Berg was chief curator until she left the Jewish Museum Berlin in 2020 .
