Jürgen Berghaus (born October 8, 1953 ) is a former German soccer player.
Career
Jürgen Berghaus played for Wuppertaler SV and BV Lüttringhausen during his professional career . For the Wuppertal, he made his first competitive games in the 1974/75 season in the Bundesliga . In his second game for Wuppertal on matchday 25, he scored the equalizer against VfB Stuttgart and thus his first Bundesliga goal. Berghaus was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga North with Wuppertal and was promoted to one of the team's best middle runners . He proved to be very dangerous, because in the 1977/78 seasonhe scored eight goals in the second division. Between 1982 and 1984 he was under contract with BV Lüttringhausen in the second division. In forty games, however, he only scored one goal and was relegated to the third division with the team.
