Jürgen Bitter

Jürgen Bitter (born April 12, 1943 ) is a German journalist and author.

Bitter began his journalistic career in 1963. He worked as an editor for the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung and from 1979 headed its sports department . As a sports journalist, he reported on the German national soccer team for decades and accompanied them to their games. Since 2004 he has worked as a freelance journalist for German daily newspapers and as an author.
