Jürgen Ebertowski

Jürgen Ebertowski (born July 30, 1949 in Berlin ) is a German author, language and aikido teacher.

Life

Ebertowski attended elementary and high school schools in Berlin-Wedding before living in England for a while. After this time he studied Japanese and Chinese Studies at the Free University of Berlin . He lived for six years in Tokyo and Kamakura in Japan, where he was a language teacher at the Goethe Institute. He also received his aikido teacher training in Tokyo . He then became a lecturer in Aikido at the Berlin University of the Arts . In 1986 he founded the AIKIKAN Aikido Center in Kreuzberg. In 1993 he became a freelance writer. According to his website, Ebertowski has often traveled to Japan, Turkey and Malta.
