Jürgen Kern (singer)

Jürgen Kern (* in Ortenau ) is a German singer and whistling virtuoso.

Kern discovered his talent for whistling on his fingers when he was a child, when he was imitating bird calls. After finishing school he devoted himself to music. His first TV appearance was on the show Na sowas with Thomas Gottschalk . From then on, Kern was a frequent guest in German shows. He also appeared several times on Fuji TV Japan. The composer, lyricist and singer Günther Behrle became its producer.

In 1997 he had his first major success with the title Il Pastore Solitario . This was followed by several top placements in the popular charts of broadcasters. Kern took the title Forever and ever at the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 1998 in part.

On March 11, 1999 Jürgen Kern won the popular hit parade on ZDF with the title A Lifetime .
