Pure Kirsten
Reiner Kirsten (real name: Reiner Jäkle , born September 16, 1969 in Elzach ) is a German popular pop singer and presenter. He is the youngest son of the musician couple Jäkle, who have performed together with their six children as the Black Forest family Jäkle since the 1970s .

Kirsten grew up with his five siblings in Oberprechtal . He and his family were already on stage as a drummer at the age of five . He learned the accordion and took singing lessons. After finishing school he first learned the profession of telecommunications technician . Until the 1980s, he released five albums with his Black Forest family Jäkle . In 1995 his first solo album came out ( Butterflies in the Rain ), with which he achieved a great success. Since then, Kirsten has devoted himself entirely to her career as a singer.
In 1996, he took with the song The Shepherd of Monte Castello for Switzerland at the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 1996 in part and reached the 6th place. This was followed by appearances on the ZDF Superhit Parade (1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000) and on other popular programs such as the popular music parade.
In 1999 Reiner Kirsten achieved 7th place at the Grand Prix of Folk Music 1999 for Germany with Wir leben, wir liebe . In 2001 he came in 12th place with Da Was Musik in All Hearts .
On February 4, 2001, he presented the ZDF Sunday concert for the first time. More shows in the same year, followed in alternation with the from Dresden originating UTA BRESAN . He is a frequent guest at popular television and radio events. In 2003 he was again at the Grand Prix of Folk Music with the title Do you hear? represented.
Since then there have been various successes with his music and his moderation.
