Life

Jōgi Tsukino began studying art, but dropped out in the second year.

He began drawing manga in 1997 with the Dōjinshi Microwave for the life simulation Little Lovers . He published this under the name Moon Ruler , which he took from a friend's band name. This later became the name of his dōjinshi circle, while he adopted Tsukino Jōgi as his personal pseudonym , which also means "moon ruler".

He made his debut as a professional author in 1999 with Imōto no Koibito ( 妹 の 恋人 ) in the magazine Comic Kairakuten of the publishing house Wani Magazine-sha. A little earlier he also drew a manga for Vol. 4 of the magazine Colorful Mampukuboshi of the Biblos publishing house, which, however, appeared after the Kairakuten. Nevertheless, he continues to produce dōjinshi.

The chapters for the Biblos publishing house were summarized in 2001 in the collection Naive . He then switched to Coremagazine, whose magazines Comic Megastore and Comic Hotmilk he mainly draws. His series Omase na Petit Ange , however, was published by Wani Magazine-sha. The first anthology also contained Imōto no Koibito .

In 2009 he was selected by Enterbrain as one of the artists who were allowed to contribute a chapter to their anthology series Amagami - Various Artists . This was also repeated for volumes 2 (2009) and 6 (2012), as well as special edition 0 (2011). These works were in each case suitable for minors, but he also published corresponding dōjinshi in parallel on the Comiket .

His work 37 ℃ (pronounced Flat 37 Celsius-do ) was published on June 15, 2010 by Eros Comix in North America in English under the title Too Hot to Handle .

In 2015 his most recent anthology, Boku no Yayoi-san , was published in Japan , the eponymous story of which was also adapted as an anime .
