J. Defert

J. Defert was a French tennis player .

Defert, who played for the Racing Club de France , took part in the 1896 Summer Olympics. He was the only tennis player in the French squad . In the men's singles he was defeated in the first round by the Egyptian Dionysios Kasdaglis , who started for Greece. On the men's doubles , he did not participate.
