The JRO-Verlag (even JRO-Verlag Carl Kremling , IRO-Verlag; John Roth sel Ww... ) Was a 1922 by Ernst Kremling (1901 Munich - 1977 Tegernsee) founded Verlag in Munich , in particular, maps (including the Current JRO -Landkarte , 1954 to 1989), street maps, city maps, atlases and globes.

After self-promotion, 42 models ranging from the school globe to the representative giant globe were published around 1961. The publishing house had been at Landsberger Strasse 191 in Munich since the 1950s. A cartographic institute belonged to the publishing house.

ADAC road maps were also published in the 1940s and 1950s (from 1933 to 1945 DDAC, for example the road map of Germany, scale 1: 250,000, 1941). One of the authors was Gustav Fochler-Hauke , who also published the atlases such as the JRO World Atlas and the JRO Hand Atlas. The publishing house has been operating as JRO Kartographische Verlagsgesellschaft mbH since 1975. It was taken over by Mairs Geographical Publishing in 1992 .
