JXplorer is a free client for the administration of LDAP servers and LDIF files. The platform-independent program is written in Java and available in various languages under the Apache license .
Many Linux distributions have it included in their software repositories . The software also runs on BSD variants, AIX , HP-UX , Mac OS X , Solaris , Windows (2000, XP) and z / OS .
important features are:
- SSL, SASL and GSSAPI;
- DSML;
- LDIF;
- I18n (currently German, French, Japanese, traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, Hungarian);
- optionally an LDAP filter constructor GUI; expandable architecture.
Version 3.3 was released on the tenth anniversary in July 2012. In total, the program has been downloaded more than a million times from SourceForge or the repositories.
