Jacinto Rey

Jacinto Rey (born February 23, 1972 in Vigo ) is a Spanish writer.

Life

Jacinto Rey studied business administration in Spain and England and has worked for large corporations in Germany and Switzerland in recent years. From 1998 to 2007 he lived in the greater Stuttgart area. He has been living in France since 2007, multilingual and keen to travel.

His first book, El Cirujano de las Indias ( The West Indian Surgeon ), published in 2007, presents the contradictions of the Spanish colonization of America. In 2009 Jacinto Rey made his debut as a crime writer with El último cliente ( The Last Client ). The book opens the series around the Amsterdam Commissioner Cristina Molen. The next volume entitled El hombre de El Cairo ( The Man from Cairo ) was published in 2011.
