The Jacko Falls are a waterfall on the Caribbean island of Dominica . The waterfall got its name from a chief who set up camp on the plateau above the Layou River after he had fled from the colonialists. He was killed in a bloody battle on July 12, 1814. There are several more places named after him: Jacko Flats and Jacko Steps .
The waterfall is in the Parish Saint Paul . It is located on the northern edge of the plateau around the Morne Trois Pitons , on the River Deux Branches ( Pagayer ).
