Jacktan
The jacktan , also Jactam, Jacto or Schack-tang, was an African measure of length in various Spanish possessions in Africa . These are, for example, the cities of Ceuta , Melilla and the Alhucemas Islands , but also Guinea and the island of Annabon . It was used as a cubit for measuring or trading in canvas .
