Jacob Gole

Jacob Gole (* 1660 in Amsterdam ; † 1737 there ) was a Dutch draftsman, engraver and publisher.

His life has so far hardly been explored. He has portrayed many well-known personalities of his time, such as B. Wilhelm III. of Orange-Nassau , Pope Innocent XI. , Philip of France , Louis XIV. , Johann III. Sobieski , Friedrich August I of Saxony , Friedrich Wilhelm of Brandenburg and Kara Mustafa Pascha . A portrait of Rembrandt is also known of him.
