Jacob Foppens van Es , also Jacob Fopsen van Es or Jacob Fossens van Essen (* around 1590/1596, probably in Antwerp ; buried March 11, 1666 in Antwerp) was a Flemish Baroque painter who was best known for his still lifes of food and flowers . Together with Osias Beert the Elder and Clara Peeters , he was one of the leading exponents of Flemish still life painting.
