Jacob van Rijs
Jacob van Rijs (* 1964 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch architect . He is a partner in the MVRDV office in Rotterdam .
He studied from 1983 to 1984 at the Free Academy The Hague and from 1984 to 1990 at the Technical University of Delft . In 1991 he founded the architecture office MVRDV in Rotterdam together with Winy Maas and Nathalie de Vries .
Van Rijs taught architecture at various colleges and universities, a. a. at the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam and at the Architectural Association London . He is a professor at the Institute for Architecture at the Technical University of Berlin.
