Jacques Cheminade (born August 20, 1941 in Buenos Aires ) is a French - Argentine politician of the Solidarité et Progrès party , which is close to the movement of Lyndon LaRouche .

Life

He studied economics at the École des hautes études commerciales de Paris and the École nationale d'administration . He was the top candidate for the Parti ouvrier Européen in the European elections in 1984 and 1989 .

He was a candidate for the 2017 presidential election in France and had the lowest percentage of votes of all competitors in the first ballot on April 23, at 0.18 percent.

Cheminade also took part in the 1995 and 2012 presidential elections , where it also came in last with 0.28 percent and 0.25 percent.
