Jacques Mersereau

Jacques Mersereau was a production designer who was nominated for an Oscar for best production design.

Life

Mersereau was nominated with Cedric Gibbons , Daniel B. Cathcart and Edwin B. Willis for his first work as a production designer for the Oscar for best production design, at the Academy Awards in 1944 for the George Sidney- directed comedy Thousands Cheer (1943) with Kathryn Starring Grayson , Gene Kelly and Mary Astor .

His second and last known collaboration as a set designer was in The White Cliffs of Dover (1944) by Clarence Brown with Irene Dunne , Alan Marshall and Roddy McDowall .
