The Jahndenkmal in Worms

The Jahndenkmal in the Rhineland-Palatinate city of Worms is a memorial in honor of the "gymnastics father" Friedrich Ludwig Jahn .

The monument, erected in 1906, is located on Jahnplatz on Ludwigstrasse across from the Jahn gym, which was also named after him. The monument designed by Ernst Müller-Braunschweig is a stone bust , which stands on a pedestal made of red granite .

The memorial has stood there in unchanged form since it was erected.
