Jakob Herle

Jakob Herle (* 1885 in Erkelenz ; † 1957 ) was a German entrepreneur and association official .

Professional background

Herle was initially managing director of the Federation of Industrialists and until 1919 managing director of the War Committee of German Industry. From 1919 to 1934 he was managing director of the Reich Association of German Industry . As the "managing director of the Reichsstandes of German industry ", Herle was one of the founding members of the National Socialist Academy for German Law Hans Franks in 1933 . From 1934 to April 1935 he also worked as the head of the German exhibition and trade fair office. From May 1935 he became chairman and managing director of the Anzeige-Aktien-Gesellschaft (ALA) .
