Jakob Willemsz. Delff (the elder)
Jakob Willemsz. Delff , also Delft , (the elder) (* around 1550 in Gouda ; † May 5, 1601 in Delft ) was a Dutch painter and engraver.
He was a talented painter and mainly painted numerous portraits of well-known personalities. His best-known works include the portrait of the officers of the rifle guild from 1592 and the self-portrait with family from 1590.

Jakob Willemsz. Delff was married to Maria Nagel († 1622). The couple had the following children:
- Willem Jakobsz. (1580–1638), engraver X 1618 Geertruid van Mierevelt
- Cornelis Jakobsz. (1571-1643), still life painter; Father of Adriaen Cornelisz. and Claudius Cornelisz.
- Rochus Jakobsz. (1572? -1617), painter
