Jakob von Mandelée

Jakob von Mandelée ( Latin Jacobum de Amygdala , French Jaques de Mandelée ; * around 1200/1210, † after 1244) was a knight in the Kingdom of Jerusalem .

He was the son of the Italo-Norman knight Wilhelm von Mandelée from Amigdalà in Calabria and his wife Agnes von Courtenay , daughter of Joscelin III. from Edessa .

In 1226 and 1244 it is documented in the Kingdom of Jerusalem in documents of the Teutonic Order . Apparently he owned real estate in the Acre area , but no rule of his own.

He was married twice, first to a woman "de Puille", and from around 1239 to Alice von Caesarea, daughter of Walter III. from Caesarea .
