Video installation Grenzgänger. The Berlin Wall from 1988 captured from both sides in one trip and played back on several monitors with a time delay.

Jakobine Engel (* 1965 in Berlin ) is a German filmmaker , video artist and actress .

Life

Jakobine Engel completed an apprenticeship as a director and camera assistant and then worked in various film and television productions. Since 1983 she has been making her own artistic film and video works. She is the daughter of Lilli Engel , lives and works in Berlin.
