James Crombie

James Crombie (* around 1880 ; † in the 20th century ) was a Scottish badminton player .

Career

James Crombie was the first national Scottish champion in 1909. Nine other titles followed by 1923. In 1913 he won the Scottish Open, in 1922 he won the All England Seniors. In 1909 he was fifth in the All England singles, in 1911 third. In 1913 he was there in the final of the men's doubles, but lost there against Frank Chesterton and George Alan Thomas.
