James Lavery

James Lavery ( James Arthur "Jim" Lavery; born March 3, 1929 in Calgary ) is a former Canadian sprinter who had specialized in the 400-meter run .

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952, he was fourth in the 4-by-400-meter relay . Over 400 m he was eliminated in the semi-finals.

In 1952 he was Canadian champion. He set his personal best of 47.5 s on June 14, 1952 in Berkeley .
