Jamgon Kongtrul
Jamgön Kongtrül ( Tib . : 'jam mgon kong sprul; Chin. Jianggong Gongzhu Ningboche蒋 贡 工 珠 宁波 车) is the title of an important Trülku lineage of the Karma Kagyü School of Tibetan Buddhism . The line begins with the famous encyclopedist and co-founder of the Rime movement - the 1st Jamgön Kongtrül Lodrö Thaye .
After the death of the 16th Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje , the 3rd Jamgön Kongtrül Karma Lodrö Chökyi Sengge became one of the "four" alongside the 14th Shamarpa Mipham Chökyi Lodrö , the 12th Tai Situpa Pema Dönyö Nyinche and the 12th Tshurphu Gyeltshab Dragpa Tenpe Yarphel Regents of the Karma Kagyu ”.
