List of double lineage holders in Tibetan Buddhism

This is a list of double lineage holders in Tibetan Buddhism .

Significant contemporary cases of double Trülku line holders are from the Gelug school ("Geibmützen") of the 11th  Penchen Lama (Panchen Erdeni) or from the Karma Kagyu school ("red hats") the two enthroned 17th  Gyalwa Karmapa ( Karmapa Conflict ) . These double occupations are closely related to the political issue of Tibet .
