Janáček Brno
Janáček Brno is a music festival in the Czech city of Brno .
The festival is organized by the Brno National Theater within two autumn weeks in honor of Leoš Janáček . It has taken place every two years since 2008. The program follows three main lines: internationally renowned artists and ensembles will perform their interpretations of Janáček's operas. In addition, choral works by Janáček are on the program. Another aspect is the way today's musicians deal with Janáček's oeuvre.
In 2019 Janáček Brno received the International Opera Award for the best festival.
