Jan-Marcus Rossa (born February 9, 1964 in Lübeck ) is a German lawyer and politician ( FDP ). He has been a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament and member of the state executive committee of the FDP Schleswig-Holstein since December 2017 .

Life

Rossa completed a law degree at the University of Hamburg and completed his legal training with the second state examination in 1995. At the beginning of the 1990s he was a research assistant at the Institute for Maritime Law and Maritime Trade Law in Hamburg at the chair of the transport lawyer Rolf Herber. He then worked as a lawyer, initially in Dresden and Berlin, before returning to Hamburg in 2003 for work. Since 2003 he has been a partner of the oldest commercial law firm in Germany, Esche Schümann Commichau . He is the co-author of the handbooks Salamon - Remuneration Structure, Law and Practice of Tailored Remuneration Structures and Oberthür / Seitz - Company Agreements, published by Beck-Verlag .

Rossa belongs to the district executive of the FDP Duchy of Lauenburg as its chairman. In the state elections in 2017 , he ran on the state list of the FDP and as a direct candidate in the Lauenburg-Süd state electoral district , where he received 8.1% of the first votes and 11.8% of the second votes. After initially missing his entry into the state parliament, he moved into the state parliament on December 15, 2017 for Heiner Garg , who wanted to concentrate on his ministerial office. He is the domestic and legal policy spokesman for the FDP parliamentary group and is also responsible for media and religious policy. He is also chairman for the FDP in the first parliamentary committee of inquiry into the so-called "rocker affair" in the 19th electoral term.
