Jan Almblad
Jan Almblad (born September 4, 1985 in Stenløse ) is a Danish cyclist .
Jan Almblad was the 2005 Danish champion in the U23 road race. In the 2006 season he finished second in the Italian one-day race Trofeo Banca Popolare Piva . In the 2007 season Almblad went the first time for an international cycling team , the Danish Continental Team GLS . In his first year there, he won the one-day race Road Bike Shop Løbet, became Danish runner-up in the team time trial and finished ninth in the U23 version of the Ronde van Vlaanderen . After two years without any top positions in international races, he ended his international career.
