Jan Popowicz
Jan Zdzisław Popowicz (born January 5, 1948 in Rzeszów , Podkarpackie ) is a former Polish archer .
Popowicz, who started for Resovia Rzeszów , took part in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montréal and finished 17th. At the world championships he reached 32nd place in individual singles in Grenoble in 1973 and 27th in Interlaken in 1975 . He finished fourth with the team in 1975. Between 1967 and 1991 he competed in Polish championships and won the individual title in both 1977 and 1979.
