Jan Veen

Jan Veen (born November 17, 1975 in Langen ) is a self-employed licensed helicopter flight instructor and professional pilot . With his "helicopter taster courses" and his appearance on the ZDF television show Wetten, dass ..? he gained media attention.

Veen is an instructor for private pilots, commercial pilots and flight instructors on various helicopter types. He is an expert for Eurocopter EC 120 , Robinson R22 and Robinson R44 as well as Guimbal Cabri G2 and flies the Bölkow Bo 105 , Eurocopter AS 350 , Eurocopter AS 355 , Agusta A109 , Schweizer HU269 and Bell 206 . Jan Veen holds exams for private helicopter pilot PPL (H), professional helicopter pilot CPL (H) and flight instructor Fi (H) for the state aviation authorities and the Federal Aviation Office (LBA).

With his trial courses under the motto "Helipilot for an hour", he introduces newcomers to theory and practice. This also included numerous celebrities whose trial course was accompanied by media. In Wetten, dass ..? Jan Veen managed to open four beer bottles within three minutes with a bottle opener attached to the runners of a Robinson R44 helicopter.
