Jana Mynářová

Jana Mynářová is a Czech Egyptologist and ancient orientalist who has been a professor at the University of Prague since 2015 .

Mynářová studied Egyptology and Ancient Near Eastern Studies at the University of Prague, where she received her doctorate in 2004. Her main areas of research are the relations between Egypt and the Middle East in the 2nd millennium BC and the history and society of the New Kingdom . Mynářová is a member of various scientific societies, including the American Schools of Oriental Research and the International Association of Assyriology .
