Janusz Nawrocki (born July 8, 1961 in Krakow ) is a former Polish football player .
Club career
Janusz Nawrocki began his professional career at Wisła Kraków and played here for seven seasons. After the 1984/85 season Wisła Krakow rose in the 2nd division. Nawrocki played another season in the second division before moving to GKS Kattowitz in the summer break before the 1986/87 season. Here he brought it in six seasons to a total of 134 games and 10 goals in the Polish Ekstraklasa . In 1991 he left Poland for Austria and signed with the then first division club FC Admira Wacker Mödling (then still VfB Mödling). Here he was able to secure a regular place in the defense and played a total of four seasons in Austria before returning to Poland in 1995 to Sokół Tychy . After two seasons in Tychy , he moved in 1997 to larger league rivals Ruch Chorzów . In 1998/1999 he played his very last professional season. He brought it to a total of 349 games and 14 goals in the top Polish division. From 1999 to 2008, however, Janusz Nawrocki was still active as a football player for several lower-class Polish football clubs. He ended his active career in 2008 at the age of almost 47. Since 2011 he has been active as a football player in the old man's team from Wisła Kraków.
