Janusz Szuber (* 1947 in Sanok ) is a Polish freelance writer, poet and poet .

Life

Szuber has been a freelance writer since 1994, when he only wrote for a small group of friends for a long time. His works in the field of lyric poetry were discovered by Czeslaw Milosz . His numerous publications have been translated into many languages ​​and have received prestigious awards. For his life's work he was honored with the Warsaw "Fundacja Kultury" Prize and the Fundacja Turzanski Prize. Before he became a writer, he studied Polish studies at the University of Warsaw. In addition to poems and dramas, he publishes literary sketches and limericks. Szuber is a member of the Polish Writers' Union and the PEN Club.

The Szuber family originally comes from the medieval German settlement in the Carpathian Mountains .

Janusz Szuber lives in Sanok.
